A devotional community keeping our Sanatan faith and spiritual practices alive in Queenstown — through Kirtan, Satsang and Seva, for us and our coming generations.
To preserve our religion and spiritual practices — living them ourselves and passing them on, undiluted, to our coming generations.
Devotional singing together — kirtans, bhajans and aarti that fill our gatherings with bhakti and keep our hearts connected to the Divine.
Regular sittings for prayer, katha and spiritual company — the heart of our community life in Queenstown.
Observing our sacred festivals in their true devotional form — with puja, aarti, katha and prasad at the centre, not just the occasion.
Our focus is devotional and religious — Bhakti, Satsang and Seva. Queenstown has wonderful groups for cultural and social celebrations; our place is the spiritual side.
Our children should grow up knowing their prayers, scriptures, and practices — not just about them. We keep the flame alive so it passes on naturally.
Our purpose is never to divide or isolate from anyone — we happily stand alongside all of Queenstown's communities. We simply hold space for our faith to survive and thrive.
We recommend regular fortnightly or monthly satsang sittings — kirtan, bhajans, katha and prayer together. As we have no premises of our own, we warmly encourage members to come forward and offer their home as a venue. Hosting rotates in turns, so no one family carries the load — and the regularity stays easy to keep.
Hosting a sitting is itself a beautiful seva — if you'd like to offer your space, let us know when you join or simply get in touch.
